Karma Cola is another good, ethical business venture from the guys at All Good, who stock New Zealand with fairtrade bananas from Ecuador.
In this case, their cola nuts come from a little village in Sierra Leone, and two cents from the sale of each bottle go straight back to that village so their fledgling cola nut industry can grow and prosper.
Each ingredient in Karma Cola has a story similar to that of the cola nut. Both the vanilla beans and sugar are sourced directly from fairtrade cooperatives that ensure the money flows back into the community and encourages growth.
We think think that makes for good karma.
The brand's identity combines the theme of mutual connection with a hand crafted look. It's a distinctly non corporate appearance designed to stand out in the chillers of New Zealand's cafes and bars.
